  21 The motivation for the circuits and software you will find on this site is
  22 our loosely-knit group's shared interest in hobby rocketry.  Rather than
  23 try to introduce the hobby to you here, here's a very brief

  25 that will give you a quick flavor of what the point is.  John Coker
  26 has published an excellent

  30 fly high power rockets.

  35 As Bdale and Robert became more experienced in the hobby and started to build
  36 and fly more sophisticated projects, we started to feel limited by the
  37 existing electronics products available.  AltusMetrum was Bdale's first
  38 attempt to address this situation with a completely open hardware and software
  39 design... other project have since followed, and it's cool to have help from
  40 various friends!

  45 is our primary project, a dual-deploy rocketry altimeter with improved sensor
  46 complement and bidirectional RF telemetry link.

  50 using [TeleMetrum](TeleMetrum/).  It may also be useful as a generic RF
