3 This is a custom, 54mm minimum diameter airframe, based on a KestreL kit from
4 [3 Dogs Rocketry](http://3dogsrocketry.com/). The name is a play on "Way Up
5 Yonder" with the intended initial motor being the new
6 [Cesaroni](http://pro38.com) Pro54 6xl K300 long-burn reload.
10 My fundamental objective with this airframe is to "need" the high altitude
11 window at the NCR North launch site sometime in 2010. This would have the
12 consequence of raising my personal altitude record from 14141 feet AGL on an
13 L730 in my Vertical Assault. A secondary objective is to take one of our
14 [TeleMetrum](http://altusmetrum.org/TeleMetrum) altimeters higher than it has
15 ever gone before and demonstrate successful GPS based recovery with it.

19 introduction of the Kestrel kit with an introductory special including the
20 Cesaroni Pro54 6xl case and associated tail cone rear closure was too good
21 pass up. However, as is often the case, I won't be building this kit stock!
