-Turn-On Log for TeleMetrum boards
-
-2010.04.08
-- First production run received from Advanced Circuits, 54 units of v1.0.
-
- To be complete, each board needs:
-
- - add GPS patch antenna
- - add customer choice of pyro connector
- - remove C38 (wrong value, optional)
- - replace C36 with 1uF (better value)
-
-- sn 208
- persistent crc error problems communicating over UHF link
-
-- sn 209
- solder bridge across C3, caused USB enumeration failure. removed the
- short and it works ok.

-
- GPS sensitivity seems very low .. ok with off-board amplified patch

-- sn 210
- missing J9, installed from my parts stock.

- kapton tape left over baro sensor port, removed with tweezers.

- nominal performance
-
-- sn 211
- U4 installed 180 degrees rotated, thus 5V supply not working, accel
- gave weird values. Removed and replaced with fresh part.

-- Summary Thoughts:
- I really don't understand the missing J9 connectors. The empty
- parts baggie that was in the package of stuff sent to me says 56
- were purchased, and we only have 54 boards. Where'd they go? And
- can someone explain how a big red connector that's so visually
- obvious could be missed in QA?
-
- The one solder bridge and one damaged 0402 resistor found so far
- may just be par for the course at this price/service level?
-
-2010.04.26
-- received Taoglas AP.17A.07.0040A amplified patches. Installed one on
- sn 208 and confirmed functionality and performance. I still see sn 208
- exhibiting a problem where sometimes it emits 100% CRC errors over the UHF
- link and other times it's fine. Keep this one for myself, don't ship it!
