13 Meanwhile, [Keith](http://keithp.com/keithp) has completely rewritten the guts
14 of the firmware in the last few days to eliminate
15 [FreeRTOS](http://www.freertos.org/) since it turns out to just be too heavy
16 for our needs on this project. My board is now running a snapshot of his
17 latest work, and in bench testing I've confirmed that it can do launch detect,
18 log sensor data until the non-volatile memory chip is full, and dump the raw
19 data over USB for analysis after a flight.
21 Weather has been an issue in Colorado recently, but as soon as we get a decent
22 launch day (maybe as early as this weekend?), I'm looking forward to flying
23 this rocket on one or all of the
24 [Cesaroni](http://pro38.com/) I205, I540, and J285 currently in my box to get
25 some initial flight data recorded. Keep your fingers crossed for me that
26 the storm front headed towards us clears out by the weekend!
