   5 currently underway.  We have 5 candidates for 3 open seats this year, and
   6 there has been some
   7 <a href="http://lists.spi-inc.org/pipermail/spi-general/2006-July/thread.html">
   8 spirited discussion</a>
   9 among candidates and others about the purpose and direction of the
  10 organization.  The election closes on the 29th, so do it today!
