2 Steps for making a release:
4 1. Update build.properties for the new version.
8 5. Test new features (not in project directory)
9 6. Copy distribution files into OpenRocket-dists project
10 7. Update updates.php and test various versions using a different name:
11 scp updates.php plaa,openrocket@web.sourceforge.net:htdocs/actions/testupdates.php
12 java -Dopenrocket.debug.updateurl=http://openrocket.sourceforge.net/actions/testupdates.php -jar OpenRocket-1.1.0.jar
13 8. Update HTML: htp/htp.def (version number) htp/news.htp (release info)
14 9. Run "htp @" and check the web pages locally
15 10. Update Eclipse project and commit files to SVN (OpenRocket and OpenRocket-dists)
16 11. Tag the version in SVN, URL:
17 https://openrocket.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/openrocket/tags/Release_1.1.x
18 12. Upload JAR and source distribution and ReleaseNotes to Sourceforge
19 - Project Admin -> File Manager
20 - create new version directory under /openrocket
21 - upload JAR, ZIP and ReleaseNotes
22 - select ReleaseNotes properties, set as release notes
23 - select JAR properties, set release note file and default downloads
24 - select ZIP properties, set release note file
25 13. Update HTML to web server:
26 scp * plaa,openrocket@web.sourceforge.net:htdocs/
27 14. Test downloading from Sourceforge and web site
28 15. Update update.php to web server:
29 scp updates.php plaa,openrocket@web.sourceforge.net:htdocs/actions/
30 16. Test update checking without specific options
31 17. Update build.properties to "pre" version + commit
32 18. Send email about new release to openrocket-announce@lists.sourceforge.net
